On the other hand, Lisa King, another user, shared that she had lost about 3 kilograms (6 lbs) a week while taking a fake version of retatrutide and working out. “I’m not sure if it’s due to reta, but I have a lot more energy,” she remarked, admitting that if she noticed any side effects, she would stop using it immediately.
The situation has drawn the ire of regulators and health professionals alike. Authorities are taking action against companies, influencers, and wellness clinics that manufacture and promote these counterfeit medications. Eli Lilly has reported more than 14,000 websites, advertisements, and social media posts that are illegally marketing the drug. A spokesperson for the company emphasized the need to disrupt the illegal importation and distribution of such products.
