Spain’s Youth Faces Housing Crisis: Rent Takes 98.7% of Paychecks!

The housing access crisis is hitting young folks in Spain hard, pushing them further away from the dream of living on their own. Recent data from the Emancipation Observatory of the Spanish Youth Council (CJE) reveals a shocking drop in the youth emancipation rate, which fell to just 14.5% for those aged 16 to 29 in 2025.
